4. Virgin Steele est un groupe que je re-découvre, et avec un grand bonheur! Je me suis offert "Black Light Bacchanalia" lors de sa sortie et il tourne toujours régulièrement. Un superbe album de Heavy Metal. J'ai donc acquis ensuite ce "Noble Savage" pour le côté belle réédition et c'est vrai que c'est une belle pièce/5(14).

5. Of course, Virgin Steele was more important to these guys, and after only one incredible album, Exorcist was left in the dust for Steele's more power metal, well, chessiness. Such a shame. If Mr. David DeFeis ever reads this, then read this: Whatever it takes, get that Exorcist album a proper CD release PLEASE!/5(3).

7. Virgin Steele's third album Noble Savage is some more old school heavy / power metal. It's in many respects like a slightly more refined sequel to Guardians of the Flame, featuring a lot of the same ingredients and attitude. The purpose of the album mainly just seems to be fun, exuberant metal; something full of pounding rhythms, exciting guitar leads, catchy choruses and a general devil-may.

8. Virgin Steele’s Noble Savage is a magnificent release on many levels, although one that isn’t without its flaws. Following Guardians Of The Flame and the exodus of Jack Starr, the band added the superb Edward Pursino, whose guitar skills are nothing to sniff it. The guy is a riff master, and his leads are quite frankly godly. This, coupled with a step up in the song writing department.
